MyAdvisorData by Brokers Alliance

Connect your AI to your book in five minutes

MyAdvisorData is a read-only connection. You point the assistant you already use, Claude or ChatGPT, at it, sign in with your own Google or Microsoft account, and ask in plain English where your hierarchy's cases, open requirements and contracting packets sit with Brokers Alliance. Nothing is installed, no password is handed over, and every question is recorded.

Before you start

Brokers Alliance registers the email address of the principal for your hierarchy first. Sign in with that exact account when the connection asks. If your address has not been registered, the sign-in is refused, and that is by design. Ask your Brokers Alliance contact to add it.

The connection address you will paste is the same for every assistant:

https://case-nerve-eysvpxsjpq-uc.a.run.app/mcp

Copy it exactly, including /mcp at the end.

Connect

Claude (claude.ai or Claude Desktop)

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Name it MyAdvisorData and paste the connection address above. Leave every advanced field blank.
  4. Click Add, then Connect.
  5. A Brokers Alliance sign-in page opens. Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft and use the registered account.
  6. Back in Claude, start a new chat and ask: Which hierarchy am I connected to?

If a question later says the connection changed, open Connectors, disconnect MyAdvisorData and connect it again. Claude reads the connection's abilities once, at connect time.

ChatGPT (Plus, Pro, Team or Enterprise)

  1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins (Apps), then Add, then Create MCP App.
  2. Name it MyAdvisorData and paste the connection address above.
  3. Authentication: choose OAuth. Leave the advanced OAuth settings blank.
  4. Tick the acknowledgment box and click Create, then Continue.
  5. A Brokers Alliance sign-in page opens. Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft and use the registered account.
  6. In a new chat, enable the MyAdvisorData app and ask: Which hierarchy am I connected to?

If the Connect button keeps spinning after a failed first attempt, open the app's settings, choose Delete app, and create it again. Uninstall alone does not clear it.

What you can ask

  • Which hierarchy am I connected to? How many agents it covers, when the roster was last refreshed, and what can and cannot be seen.
  • Where is case 123456? Status and status date for one case placed through Brokers Alliance by an agent in your hierarchy, by case id or by policy number plus carrier.
  • What is still outstanding on case 123456? Open requirements, who they are waiting on (agent, applicant, carrier, MGA, vendor), request and follow-up dates.
  • Where does agent 7654321 stand on contracting? Carrier appointment status for one agent and the Brokers Alliance intake records for that contact.
  • Show my submitted and paid counts by month. Whole-hierarchy counts for a chart or table, by status category and top carriers. Available once your book has passed the reconcile check.
  • Who asked what? The ledger of every question made with your hierarchy's access.

What it never answers

  • A case that belongs to another hierarchy. It gets the same answer as a case id that does not exist.
  • Commission levels, contract levels, overrides or compensation of any kind.
  • Applicant names, health details, notes or documents. Requirement names only.
  • Anything it cannot prove. When a source is slow or a row is missing, the answer says unknown or incomplete and gives the reason.

Read the acknowledgment

Answers from this connection pass through the assistant you chose, under that assistant's terms, and Brokers Alliance does not see your conversation.

Access, downlines and turning it off

One connection per hierarchy, held by the principal Brokers Alliance registered. Downline agents get no access until the principal asks Brokers Alliance to enable named users, and each named user signs in with their own account.

To end access for one person or for the whole hierarchy, tell your Brokers Alliance contact. Revocation takes effect on the next question. It ends future access; it cannot recall an answer already delivered.

If a person leaves your organisation, say so the same day.
